Chef Ena: Avocado Deviled Eggs Recipe


I came up with this idea to put a slight twist on standard deviled eggs specifically for Easter.
Ingredients
- 6 Hard Boiled Eggs
- 1 Large Avocado
- 1 Tbsp lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Fresh chopped Cilantro
- ½ Tsp Garlic Salt
- ¼ tsp Ground White Pepper
- Hot Sauce for decorative topping-optional (I like Tobasco because of the flavor, but it is a bit thin. For a better decorative top use a thicker sauce like Siracha)
Preparation Instructions
- Remove the shells from the hard-boiled eggs.
- Slice in half then carefully remove the hard yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the avocado flesh and smash with egg yolks until blended.
- Then add cilantro, garlic salt and pepper.
- When the mixture is ready scoop into the egg halves.
- Add one drop of hot sauce on top of the devil eggs as desire.
